ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Jakayla McSwain, LCSW is the founder of UPLIFT Mentoring. Through her work as a social worker, she recognized the importance of creating safe, affirming spaces where girls feel supported, confident, and understood.
The vision for UPLIFT was placed on Jakayla’s heart in 2024, inspired by her passion for helping girls navigate their teenage years with encouragement, connection, and care. She brings a compassionate and empowering approach to UPLIFT, creating spaces where girls can grow in confidence, strengthen their sense of self, and know they are not alone.

Mentoring
Individualized support and encouragement that helps young girls ages 13-18 years old grow in confidence, self-awareness, and personal development.
Workshops
Engaging, educational workshops designed to spark meaningful conversations and provide practical tools around topics relevant to youth and their everyday experiences.
School-base programming
UPLIFT partners with schools to provide small groups and programming that support students’ social-emotional development, confidence, self-esteem, and personal growth.
